I wouldn’t want my spiders to go away, because I need them. They are the watchful protectors that my room needs against the vile man eating roaches that I have. Do these work to get rid of spiders?
There is an rumor on the internet that states that a rotting ostrich egg can be used to repel spiders. We don’t know if that is true or not. I can’t speak for other sellers but I can tell you that the eggshells you purchase from us are blown out and have been thoroughly washed inside and out. Since our eggshells are clean they will not have any odor.

If the rumor is about rotten ostrich eggs… I had an intact (rotten) ostrich egg on my mantel for about 5 years, until it randomly exploded one day, with grenade like force. Seeing the pieces of eggshell sticking out of the wall, across the room, made me very glad nobody was there when it exploded. I don’t recall it having an effect on spiders, but if it did it wasn’t worth it.
