Delivery hours and service times
We generally make deliveries from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday-Friday; and on Saturday and Sunday for residential deliveries. If you got a message that says FedEx will deliver your package by end of day, that means your package should arrive before 8 PM on the delivery date.
If you use FedEx Standard Overnight, packages can be picked up, not delivered, on Saturday for an additional charge. Overnight shipments aren’t delivered on Sundays.
Yes. But, Sunday delivery is not available. With FedEx 2Day® Delivery, packages are delivered Monday through Friday with Saturday pickup available in many areas at an additional charge.

FedEx Delayed Packages
They are only as accurate as the driver is. If you can’t be around, you can always call FedEx and tell them to hold it for you at the distribution facility, then pick it up yourself after 5. That’s what I did for my wife’s iBook. It beat taking the day off to try and out-guess the delivery truck.

What does FedEx mean by end of day? FedEx Ground delivers by the end of the business day but doesn’t specify what time that is. You can assume it’s around 5 pm, which is when most offices close their doors. For FedEx Home Delivery, however, end of day is 8 pm local time.
