Hello and welcome to our discussion in solsarin. Today we want to talk about “Easy Apple Dessert recipes with few ingredients” in our site.
Seriously. Why is fall ALL about pumpkin? For me, not only do apples taste better, but I find them to infinitely more versatile and easy to work with. They don’t require you to use every muscle of your body to cut them open, scoop out the flesh and then cook the meat. And I love that they’re equally delicious raw or cooked. (Hi apples slathered with peanut butter or dipped in gooey caramel.)
Granted, I absolutely look forward to my requisite pumpkin dessert of the season, but once I’ve had one, I’m pretty much good to go. On the other hand, I could eat an apple dessert on the regular during the cool fall months, and never tire of it.
Give me ALL of the Gourmet Candy Apples, Apple Cobbler with Sweet Cream (and biscuits!), and Apples with caramel yogurt.
Like most of America, we set out to go apple picking last week some friends, and of course, came home with an obscene amount of apples. And while I was tempted to whip up something super impressive and elaborate, I decided to swing the other direction and do my best to come up with the most delicious way to let the apples shine, in the simplest way possible.
I wanted even the most novice of cooks to be able to make this, no problem, and I didn’t want a long list of ingredients to be in the mix.. So here she is: 5-Ingredient Apple Crisp.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, beat together the melted butter, sugar, and egg until fluffy. Fold in the apples and walnuts. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Stir the flour mixture into the wet mixture until just blended. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Bake 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
These Apple Dumplings are swimming in a buttery vanilla sauce. My family loves them. I hope you will, too.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Butter a 7×11 inch baking pan. Separate biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece of dough into a circle. Wrap one biscuit around each apple half and place, seam side down, in pan.
In small bowl, combine sugar, water, melted butter and vanilla. Pour mixture over dumplings in pan. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until golden. Serve hot.
Made with a shortbread crust, spiced apple filling, streusel topping, and homemade salted caramel, apple pie bars are just as delicious as apple pie, but much simpler to make. You’ll love this fun twist on a classic dessert!
Without a doubt, apple pie is my favorite dessert. I love the combination of sweet and tart spiced apples with the buttery, flaky pie crust. It’s cozy, comforting, and simply irresistible. I have the recipe memorized and make it year-round, not just at Thanksgiving. Today’s recipe is the bar version of my salted caramel apple pie (the first apple pie recipe I ever shared on Sally’s Baking Addiction!). While I love the pie making process, sometimes we don’t have hours to prepare a dessert– which is where apple pie BARS come in. No pie crust, but same delicious flavors.
This is an old southern apple fritter recipe. When we got home from a trip through the South years ago, I found the recipe among the brochures I brought back. I’ve been making these easy apple fritters ever since.
